TIMBASOL - DISPERSIONS FOR WOOD COATINGS : Introduction

Timbasol is the brand name for Johnson Matthey`s solvent based and water based pigment dispersions for interiors and exterior wood stains and varnishes, wood preservatives and protective coatings, timber coatings, furniture stains and lacquers.

Timbasol dispersions conveniently remove the need for expensive and time consuming pigment grinding, dispersing, and colour control processes, increasing productivity for the wood coating manufacturer.

Dispersion viscosity is designed to provide good flow for ease of use by pumping, pouring or dosing.

Timbasol products are formulated to enhance drying and film forming properties of wood coatings.

Quality control throughout the process ensures Timbasol dispersions consistently meet colour, strength and viscosity specifications, and also transparency in the case of Transparent Iron oxide dispersions.

Storage stability is minimum six months under normal storage conditions in closed containers and the dispersions are protected from skinning. Standard packaging for the Timbasol dispersion range is 25 kg. and 200 kg. steel drums or 1000 kg. tanks
