Silberline is proud to be able to offer Geometric Pigment, a new technology in the special effect pigments market. We now give product stylists the power to capture the consumers` eye and imagination with holographic pigments and effects. From automobile coatings to health & beauty products, these new pigments create a new design dimension, a new compelling unspoken way for the quality of a product to shine through with the image of value, importance and esteem. Geometric Pigment is manufactured for Silberline by Spectratek Technologies, Inc., the worldwide leader in holographic film technology.

Geometric Pigment can be used as an optical decorative additive in automotive paints, coatings for consumer items, molded plastic items, cosmetics and printing inks. Completely unlike conventional coverage pigments, this versatile new medium can be added to all existing pigments for a dramatic diamond-like effect that is quite economical. The effect can range from subtle and elegant to brash & flashy, depending on the designers` perception and desire.

These holographic flakes are made from clear polyester, which has been holographically embossed and vacuum metallized. It is then coated and micro-cut into various particle sizes and shapes. Geometric Pigment is available in 0.004” x 0.004”  and 0.004” x 0.002” particle sizes, and in colors such as silver, pewter, gold & copper.
